William Thomas Homes utilizies the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Green Building Program. This program consists of a list of core areas where you can engineer your home and score its degree of efficiency and use of resources. We can help you through the design process and determine how you can achieve a Bronze, Silver, Gold or Emerald level of performance.

The seven categories of consideration are below:
Within these categories are criteria that rate your choice of materials, fixtures and overall design performance that tally a score toward your certification. Every home built is unique by nature and affect the environment differently one way or another. Therefore, your priorities in choice of location, style of home, mechanical systems, material selections and budgetary constraints ulitimately determine the “Greening” of your home.
